Maxwell died at his home on Independent Street last Wednesday night. For the past several months he had been suffering with bright's disease and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Maxwell was 49 years of age. He came to Bainbridge five years ago from Whigham, in the vicinity of which town he was raised, and entered upon the years of his manhood. He leaves a wife, one daughter, Miss Flora, and two sons, William and Forest, besides a large number of friends both here and in Grady county, to mourn his death. The above article taken from the Bainbridge Searchlight will be sad news to the many relatives and friends in Grady county of Mr. Maxwell.
