Good Citizen Passes Away

The entire community near Bold Springs was shocked Tuesday, on learning of the 
death of Mr. Ben F. Spivey, who died that morning after a very short illness of 
pneumonia.

Mr. Spivey was born in Brooks county, Georgia, April 22, 1863 and departed this 
life January 19th, 1915.

The deceased was a man of great piety and had lived in that community, Bold 
Springs, nearly thirty years.  He leaves besides a wife and five children, a 
host of sorrowing friends and relatives to mourn his death.

Interment took place at the Bold Springs cemetery at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday 
afternoon.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
which never can be filled.
