Mrs. Cassells was called to the bedside of her daughter, Mrs. Rehberg, several days ago to render what assistance she could during the illness of her daughter, and there was taken ill, with that dreaded ailment, pneumonia. Mrs. Cassells gradually grew worse and all that medical science and loving hands could do, failed, and she quietly passed away early Monday night. The remains were brought to her home below town last Wednesday, and were laid away in the Collins cemetery at ten o'clock. The funeral services were held at the Centennial church being conducted by Rev. Walter C. Jones of this city. An exceedingly large crowd paid their respects to this good woman. Mrs. Cassells is survived by three sons, Messrs. Tom, Raymond and Byron Cassells and three daughters, Mrs. J. M. Sasser, Mrs. J. H. Collins, and Mrs. Amos Sasser, all of this county, besides numerous relatives and friends. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
