On last Sunday night, May 16th, the Death Angel took away Mr. Admiral Nelson at his home in Perry, Fla. Interment took place in the city cemetery in that place Monday afternoon. Uncle Add (as he was better known) numbered his days many for he died at the age of 92. He was always willing and anxious to do anyone a favor and was a devoted father and husband. He leaves a wife and four children, Mrs. Belle Pullen, Lucy and Howard Nelson. We should remember that all things work together for the good to them that love the Lord. He was an upright man, he never spoke of anyone unless he could speak kind. Our loss is Heaven's gain for we are sure that he is safe in a better world where he will see no more troubles or sorrow. Uncle Add was a citizen of this county several years and proved himself to be a true and worthy citizen. He served in the Confederate war and while there lost one eye and other slight wounds. The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of the entire community. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
