The Cairo Messenger, Friday, July 16, 1915
Mrs. Walter Griffin died at her home six miles north of town on Monday morning 
after a brief sickness, which lasted for two days.  She was stricken Saturday 
with acute indigestion, which with other complications, caused her death.  The 
funeral was held Thursday at 11 o'clock at Tired Creek cemetery.  Rev. Walter 
C. Jones conducting the services.

She leaves a husband and six small children.  Her father, Mr. J. P. Wimberly, 
two sisters, May and Pearl Wimberly, and four brothers.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of the people of the entire community.
