His death was caused by a stroke of paralysis which he suffered on last Sunday night. The body was taken to Moultrie where it was laid to rest on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Griffin was well known here, having lived at Gradyville for some time prior to moving to his farm in the north part of the county. He was 54 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children. The family have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
