N. R. Spengler Dies At His Home In Boston Last Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, in the 81st year of his age, Capt. N. R. Spengler, passed away at his home in Boston, Ga. He was stricken with paralysis two weeks ago and lingered until death relieved him; surrounded by his loved ones. Capt. Spengler leaves, besides a wife, three daughters, Mrs. T. L. Rushin of this city; Mrs. John Swift, of Thomasville and Mrs. J. G. Taylor of Boston, and two sons, Dr. N. L. Spengler, of Donalsonville and Mr. Joe Spengler of Boston. The funeral services were held by Dr. T. A. White, assisted by Rev. J. M. Rushin, at the Boston cemetery last Monday afternoon, surrounded by a large concourse of loving relatives and friends.
