She was the wife of Mr. R. Y. Hurst and daughter of Haynes and Hellen Singletary both of whom have long since passed to the Great Beyond. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. She also leaves five brothers, Messrs. Ed, Wright, Luke, David and J. R. Singletary. Up to a few years ago, she had all the appearance of a woman that would reach a ripe and fruitful old age, but alas, that fateful disease consumption layed hold upon her and took her away from family and friends. She was going into her 59th year when the reaper came. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church. The last sad rites at the cemetery were conducted by Rev. W. C. Jones, who had known her from girlhood. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
