T. Crawford when God saw fit to send the Angel of Death to take into His goodly company the little two-year old daughter, Virginia, who quietly passed away at four o'clock Wednesday morning after two weeks of patient suffering. It is sad to give up a cheerful, hopeful life of a darling little baby, however, we cannot help but look upward to the Creator who gives as well as takes the lives of His children for strength to bear sorrow nobly. We find much comfort when we look back on the beautiful life that has been taken away, and with the assurance that has been given us from above, we know that little Virginia has been carried only to a brighter and fairer land. She leaves behind many loved ones, as well as her playmates, to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the residence, attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends. The services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Ryder assisted by Rev. W. C. Jones. The pall bearers were Messrs. J. M. Poulk, J. E. Forsyth, W. L. Wight and Thomas Wight. May God breathe peace and cheerful resignation into the hearts of the grief stricken family at this time and we hope that in Him they may find much to sustain and comfort them. "Friends."
