Prof. J. M. Stovall Passes Away
Prof. J. M. Stovall died at the state sanitarium for tuberculosis at Alta, Ga. 
on Wednesday April 19th, after having been in declining health for the past two 
years.

The deceased was about forty years of age.  He leaves a wife and several small 
children, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death.

The remains were brought to Whigham Thursday morning and laid to rest in the 
city cemetery Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.  The funeral was attended by 
a large concourse of sorrowing friends.  We extend condolence to the bereaved 
ones.
