Green, one of Grady's most prominent farmers passed away last Monday morning at eight o'clock at his home several miles north of town. Mr. Green had only been sick one week, having taken ill Monday April 24th with pneumonia which was the direct cause of his death. The funeral services were held last Tuesday morning at ten o'clock at Pine Level cemetery, being conducted by Rev. A. J. Tomlinson. The Cairo Lodge of Odd Fellows, of which the deceased was a member, assisted in conducting the services. Mr. Green was about 44 years of age and leaves besides a wife, six children, three boys and three girls, and numerous relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
