Clower will learn with regret of his death, which occurred last Thursday evening at nine o'clock at the residence of his brother, Dr. Eugene Clower. "Mack" as he was familiarly known here, was a native of Cairo, where he spent his boyhood days. On April 22nd, last he suffered a stroke of paralysis from which he never recovered. Dr. Clower attended him and brought him from Lakeland to Cairo several weeks ago, when it was thought he was improving. After he was improving, after coming here, his condition improved until about a week before his death, when he suffered another stroke. He was a member of the Methodist church and the order of Masons. He was 45 years of age and is survived by three sisters, Misses Lula V. and Susie Mae, of Lakeland, and Mrs. R. W. Pearce of Monticello, Fla., two brothers, John T. of Carrabelle and Dr. Eugene Clower of this city. He was prominent in business circles in south Florida and his death will occasion much regret there. The funeral was held from the residence of Dr. Clower on Saturday morning at eleven o'clock and was conducted by Rev. J. T Ryder, assisted by Rev. J. B. Wight. Interment followed at the city cemetery. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: L. B. Powell, W. L. Wight, E. M. Maxwell, J. B. Crawford, Thomas Wight and D. F. Oliver.
