Death Of A Good Woman
On Sunday, September 3rd at 11 o'clock, Mrs. Martha Miller passed away after a 
lingering illness in the 86th year of her age. Dropsy of the heart being the 
immediate cause of her death.  She was a consistent member of the Missionary 
Baptist church.  She leaves two sons to mourn her going away.  Mr. J. H. Miller 
and Mr. C. C. Miller.  She was laid to rest at Long Branch church last Sunday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. J. P. Swann preaching the funeral service at the 
home of her son, Mr. C. C. Miller, 5 miles north of town.
