W. Boyett, deceased, who passed away last Monday the 23rd at 11 o'clock a.m. at his home four miles north of Whigham. He was stricken with paralysis on Saturday and after lingering only two days peacefully passed away. He was 64 years of age on the second day of June this year and was a faithful member of the Congregational Methodist Church, a loving Christian, husband and father. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife and four children, W. K. Boyett, Oscar Boyett, Mrs. J. C. Wall, all of Grady county and Mrs. W. A. Moore of Tampa, Fla. He was laid to rest at Spring Hill cemetery. The funeral was preached by his pastor, Rev. J. J. Hurst. There was a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends who accompanied the deceased to his last resting place, thus paying their last tribute of respect to one whom they loved.
