Robison, daughter of Jesse L. and Georgia A. Robison, departed this life on December 18th, about six o'clock in the morning at the age of eighteen years and four months. She had never been sick before and was only sick four days before passing away with neutratic blood poison. She gave her heart to God in early life, united with the M. E. Church and lived a consistent member to the last moment. Then calling all the family to her, gave to all a parting message, then kissed them good bye. And with the calmness of an Angel begged them not to grieve for her. As there was no sting in her death and the Bible taught that all must die. She was an obedient daughter, a loving sister, always thoughtful of others. In her death we have a clear demonstration of the blessedness of those who die in the Lord. She died without a tremor begging the loved ones to meet her in Heaven. Her little brother Floyd had passed away about two years before at the age of six years, a lovely child that still lingers in our hearts. Whose death came suddenly, and today while friends and loved ones weep, they sing with the Angels in Glory. (And while yielding to our infinite weakness we grieve. We rejoice to know that are at rest.) Then sing on dear children with the angels above, Ere-long we will join thee in the mansions of love. Grandfather and Mother is nearing the gate, Keep watching and waiting just inside the gate For we'll soon be there; 'twill not be long to wait. Then papa and mama are coming on too, They gladly will meet little Floyd ------. They'll join you in singing the songs so sweet, And be there ready the others to greet. Then there's Ruel and Odell, that loved you so well, Will always remember your parting word when she's grown tall. Your last parting message and last parting kiss, We trust will guide her to Glorious Bliss. Then there's Uncles and Aunties, and cousins all around, Who gladly rejoice in the Savior you found. We know dear children you glad would have stayed, But the call of the master you humbly obeyed. and now you're in heaven the home of the blest, To sing with the angels and lovingly rest.
