Death of a Young Man

Last Saturday night at 8:30 o'clock the Death Angel visited the home of Mr. and 
Mrs. John McCroan, one mile southwest of Gradyville and carried away their 
darling son, George Loyd Cain, at the age of twenty-two years, seven months and 
fourteen days.  The direct cause of his death being due to Bright's disease.

He united with the Missionary Baptist Church in 1912 and had lived a moral, 
Christian life.  He was an obedient and loving son and brother and his last 
words were "I am going home."  He was laid to rest Sunday afternoon at the 
Collins' cemetery, two and a half miles south of Cairo.
