H. Finch will regret to learn of the death of her mother, Mrs. V. C. Massey which occurred last Sunday in Boston. Her death was very sudden and was caused by heart failure, Mrs. Massey dropping dead. The remains were laid to rest at ten o'clock Monday morning at the Howell Burying Grounds, three miles south of Boston. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. A. White of Thomasville and were attended by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. The deceased had been a member of the Baptist church for nearly forty years and was a true Christian woman. She is survived by nine children, 8 boys and one daughter. Two of the sons reside in Boston, Mass., five in Tampa, Fla. and one in Thomas County and Mrs. W. H. Finch of this county, besides many relatives and friends.
