Death Of An Infant

The six weeks old infant of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Thomas passed away at their home 
in this city last Wednesday morning at two o'clock.  The child had only been 
sick for a few days and the cause of its death was due to lagrippe.  The 
funeral services were held from the family residence Wednesday afternoon, being 
conducted by Dr. J. A. Wynne, pastor of the Cairo Baptist church.  Interment 
followed in the Cairo cemetery.  The Messenger extends condolence to the 
bereaved ones in their hour of affliction.
