O. Maxwell, all over Grady County, will regret to learn of her death, which occurred last Saturday morning at ten o'clock at her home in Calvary. Mrs. Maxwell had been ill for about eighteen days with pneumonia, which was the direct cause of her death. Everything that loving hands and medical skill could do was done, without avail. She was 36 years of age, and a consistent member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Her work in the church will be sadly missed, as she was always ready and willing to help in any way possible to do what she could for her Master. Mrs. Maxwell had been married for 19 years and is survived by her husband, Mr. L. O. Maxwell, two sons and one daughter, her mother, Mrs. Spence of ---, besides numerous relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at the Calvary Baptist Church last Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, being conducted by her pastor, Rev. N. G. Christopher of Whigham. Interment followed in the Piedmont cemetery. The Messenger extends condolence to the bereaved ones in their hour of sad affliction.
