W. Montgomery Mrs. J. W. Montgomery departed this life May 27, 1917 after an illness covering a period of several months. She joyfully welcomed the home-going to her mansion in the skies. Thus we are better able to bear our loss and mourn not as those who have no hope. She was born near Miccosukee, Fla., August 23, 1853, uniting with the church when a young woman, and was throughout her long life a sincere, earnest Christian, who found much pleasure in the service of her Savior. The influence of her Christian example is evidenced in the character of her children. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. J. B. Wind of Cairo; Mrs. M. H. Robinson of Metcalfe; Mrs. J. E. Moore of Atlanta; and three sons: J. F. Montgomery of Cairo; J. A. Montgomery of Tuskegee, Ala., and C. L. Montgomery, who is a soldier in the Philippine Islands. We praise the Lord for the Christian's hope, the Christian's faith and the Christian's home in Glory.
