H. Bennett Passes To The Great Beyond Mr. J. H. Bennett, of Grady County, died at his home near Pine Park on Thursday, July 26th, at 7 o'clock of ulcer of the stomach. His remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Barnett's Creek cemetery and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. G. Jackson of Thomasville, assisted by Rev. A. T. Hart at Barnett's Creek church. Mr. Bennett was a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist church and lived an exemplary life and died at the ripe old age of 63. He is survived by a devoted wife and five sons and three daughters, the sons are John, Eugene, Clyde, Henry and Walter, all of whom reside in Grady county, except Clyde, who lives in Jacksonville, Fla. The daughters are Mrs. R. G. Brush of Gainesville, Fla., Mrs. W. W. Davis of Meigs, and Miss Josie of Pine Park. They all have the deepest sympathy of a host of warm friends.
