The Cairo Messenger, Friday, October 5, 1917
After a continued illness of several days, little Mae O., the eighteen months 
old child of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Daugherty died last Monday and laid to rest 
at Tired Creek cembetery. The Messenger tenders sympathy to the bereaved family 
in this hour of affliction. "Tis well with the little child for it is 
written: "Suffer them to come unto Me."
