Miller passed away at her home in this city, last Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock after an illness lasting for a week. Mrs. Miller had been in failing health for some time, but had been seriously ill for only a few days. The cause of her death was gastritis. Everything that loving hands and medical aid could do for this young woman was done but without avail. She was 22 years of age and was a member of the Methodist church. She was Miss Wealthy Curry before her marriage to Mr. Miller, about eighteen months ago, being the daughter of Mrs. Lena Curry, who resides about eight miles above town. The funeral services were held at Pleasant Grove Thursday morning at eleven o'clock, being conducted by Rev. J. G. Christian of the Cairo Methodist church. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Mr. T. W. Miller, her mother, Mrs. Lena Curry, several brothers and numerous relatives and friends. We join the many friends of the family in extending our sympathy to them in their hour of sad afflictions, knowing that "He who tempereth the wind to the shorn lamb," is able and will bind their wounded hearts.
