L. Browning who has been a sufferer for the past few years died Monday morning, December 31st at 5:30 o'clock at the home of J. W. Blair. Mr. Browning had been confined to his room for the past three months, gradually growing worse until the end came. The cause of his death was due to a cancer. At the time of his death, he was about 54 years of age and was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at four o'clock at Long Branch cemetery, where he was laid to rest. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. J. W.
