L. Richmond Dies In Thomasville Mrs. A. L. Richmond, a former resident of Cairo, passed away at her home in Thomasville last Friday morning and was laid to rest in Long Branch cemetery Saturday about noon. The last sad rites were conducted by Rev. W. C. Jones, a large concourse of friends and relatives attending the services. The deceased was about 58 years of age and had been a member of the Baptist church for a number of years. The Thomasville Times-Enterprise carried the following death notice: "Mrs. A. L. Richmond passed away this morning at 6 o'clock at her home on East Washington Street, after an illness of some days. Mrs. Richmond has been a resident of Thomasville for some time, coming here from Cairo to which town the body will be taken for interment on the 10 o'clock train tomorrow morning. Surviving the deceased are a brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Baggett, of this city and another brother living in Cairo."
