Death Of Little James C. McCarty

Little James C. McCarty, the two year and a half year-old son of Mrs. Ada 
McCarty, died last Monday afternoon about four o'clock.  "Little James" as he 
was affectionately called, suffered from a catarrhal trouble for about three 
weeks before God saw fit to relieve him of such severe pain.

The funeral was conducted at the residence Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, 
Dr. J. A. Wynne, conducting the ceremony.  The remains were carried to the city 
cemetery and laid to rest in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing 
relatives and friends.

This little life was given for a very short while but he wound his heart about 
the affections of his loved ones very tightly during this time, and seems so 
hard to break the cord, but God in His all wise providence knoweth best.  God 
bless his memory and preserve these sorrowing ones unto eternal life.
