Watson. She had been confined to her bed for four weeks when God saw fit to take her away. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Winningham Watson and four daughters, Mrs. Emma Martin, of Columbus, Mrs. Callie Bullock, of Little Ochlocknee, Mrs. Daisy Carr and Mrs. Fronie Carr, of Texas, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. To know her was to love her. She was a kind and loving mother and wife. She was 75 years of age and had been cripple for many years. Her remains were tenderly laid to rest in Little Ochlocknee church cemetery, Thursday, April 18 at 3:30 o'clock, Rev. Davis conducting the funeral services. We hope that our loss is her gain; we loved her but God loved her best and may we all be submissive to His Holy will, knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love God. Sad husband, daughters and loved ones, remember: She is safe in that beautiful City of God and will be singing in the Angel's choir, the glad tidings of welcome when the pearly gates unfold for you. One more race is run, One more voice is stilled: A place is vacant in our homes, Which can never be filled. There was an Angel band in Heaven Which was not complete; God took our precious loved one To fill the vacant seat. We loved her, yes, we loved her, But Jesus loved her more; And he has sweetly called her To yonder shining shore. The golden gates were opened, A gentle voice said come And with farewells unspoken, She calmly entered home.
