Vanlandingham Passes To Great Beyond Mr. Coy E. Vanlandingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Vanlandingham, of Cranford, passed to the great beyond last Saturday morning about eight o'clock, after an illness lasting for the past four years. The cause of his death was pernicious anemia. Everything that medical aid and loving hands could do for this young man was done, but without avail. Coy, as he was known by his numerous friends, was one of the county's most sturdy young men, and was well liked by every one. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to mankind and his many deeds and acts of kindness will long be remembered. He was thirty years of age and is survived by his wife, two small children, his father and mother and two brothers and three sisters, besides numerous relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at the Cairo Baptist church last Sunday morning at 10:30, being conducted by Rev. W. C. Jones, Rev. H. P. Stubbs and Dr. J. A. Wynne. Interment followed in the Cairo cemetery. The funeral and burial rites were attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. We extend condolence to the bereaved ones in their sad hour of affliction. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
