Norman Morrison Died Suddenly Last Friday

Mr. Norman Morrison, one of the county's most highly respected citizens, 
residing about eight miles north of town suddenly passed away last Friday 
morning about eight o'clock.  He had been in declining health for some time and 
was laying down upon his bed when he was taken suddenly ill.  Death came only a 
few minutes after he called to a member of his family to come to his bedside.

Mr. Morrison was 66 years of age and was a consistent member of the Pine Level 
Baptist church.  The funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 11:30 
o'clock at Pine Level, the remains also being interred there.  He is survived 
by his wife, two sons and six daughters.   We extend condolence to the bereaved 
ones.
