M. Harrison and took from them their little son, Arthur, age eleven months and nineteen days. Little Arthur was sick only a short time, but suffered hard until the end. All was done for him that parents, physicians, and dear loved ones could do, but none could stay the cold hand of death when the summons called it home. It seems like more than we could bear to give up our darling, but the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. His will and not ours, being done. The little babe was laid away Monday evening at 2 o'clock in Butler Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Oates of near Whigham.
