Mrs. J. L. Peebles, Jr. Dies In Bainbridge

The many friends of Mrs. J. L. Peebles, Jr., will be grieved to learn of her 
death which occurred in Bainbridge about three o'clock Thursday morning.  Mrs. 
Peebles had been sick for several weeks and was carried to Bainbridge where she 
underwent an operation.

She was about 22 years of age and was the daughter of Dr. J. F. Webb of 
Whigham, one of the county's most prominent physicians.  The remains were 
carried to Whigham yesterday afternoon.  The funeral services will be held in 
Whigham this afternoon at two o'clock.  Interment will be in the Whigham 
cemetery.

Mrs. Peebles is survived by, besides her broken hearted husband, her father and 
mother, several sisters and brothers and numerous friends.
