S. Walden Passes To Her Reward Mrs. Della Godwin Walden died at her home about four miles south of Cairo last Monday afternoon. She was ill with influenza followed by pneumonia for ten days. The funeral services were held at the Godwin cemetery Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. She was 45 years old. She was the widow of C. S. Walden, better known as "Bud" Walden. Mrs. Walden was the member of a family of fourteen children. Her going away makes a great vacant place in the home. She was a devoted mother and sister, but she still lives and will live in the hearts of those who were blest by her ministry. She leaves five children, three boys and two girls, also four sisters: Miss Carrie Godwin, Mesdames G. W. Taylor, John Elkins, E. F. Dollar, all of Grady County and four brothers: W. B., Charlie, Ringold Godwin, of Grady County and Austin Godwin, of Sanford, Fla., to mourn her departure. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
