Leon Hammett Falls Victim Of Pneumonia In France

In the article appearing in the last issue of the Messenger, as to the death of 
Leroy C. Hammett in France, this was in error.  However, Leon C. Hammett, the 
young man mentioned in the telegram fell victim to pneumonia instead of Leroy 
C. Hammett.  Both were Grady County young men and as will be seen, both have 
the same initials, which accounts for the mistake.
