C. Taylor, Jr. Passes Away Monday, November 4th at eleven o'clock p.m., the young wife of Mr. W. C. Taylor, Jr. died at the home of her father with pneumonia. Though life was so sweet to her and the true knowledge that she filled such a sacred spot in her young, true husband's life, she gave up her life pleasantly and went away to rest in peace forever. So pleasantly and gently did she give up her spirit that we know she expected a great deal of satisfaction in so doing. Her life was a model one and but an example for her fellow-man. Though short was her life, it was well spent, so rich with love and sunshine for all whom she met. Her death came as a surprise and a great shock to her family. She being the last one to give up to the disease, warned us she had sacrificed a great deal in order to prevent the sufferings of those she loved so dearly. As someone has quoted before, "She died a martyr to her family." Minnie has gone from our midst, but never from our memory. She was loved by all and loved all. So quiet and good and never giving up to her sufferings, and complaining but little, always sharing other's burdens and sorrows, her death comes as a loss felt throughout the community, among her loved ones especially. Though our lives be short and dreary, We should never grow so unweary, But live a life of purity and love, Then reap our reward, In the bounty above. Husband dear, your gem is gone, But be not grieved; It won't be long, Minnie is there away from pain, And though she never comes back again, Look to God in Love, Trust him and be of good cheer; Remember dear brother, you shall go to her. With love and respect to her loved ones. By a sister. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
