S. Myrick. She had been in very bad health for a year previous to her death, high blood pressure being the fatal disease. Mrs. Hancock was in her 66th year. She had been a member of the Methodist church since earliest childhood, always loyal and true to its doctrine, attending services regularly when her health permitted. The funeral services were held at 9:30 Sunday morning at Mrs. Myrick's home. Rev. J. G. Christian, assisted by Rev. W. C. Jones, conducted the services. Interment followed in the local cemetery. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. A. S. Myrick of Cairo and Mrs. Zuie Stephens of Boston, three sons, Curtis and I. A. Hancock of Cairo and Rev. A. H.
