W. Pyles Mr. W. W. Pyles died at his home about one mile south of town about noon last Monday. He had an attack of influenza about eight weeks ago and had never fully recovered when he was attacked a second time about a week previous to his death, this developing into pneumonia which resulted in his death Monday. He was 43 years old the 27th of last September and was a member of the Methodist church besides being a member of the W. O. W. secret order. The funeral was held at Bold Springs cemetery Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. Dr. J. A. Wynne, of the Cairo Baptist church, conducted the service. He is survived by his wife, several children and brothers and sisters, besides numerous relatives and friends.
