James W. Chester Dies December 25th

On December 25th at his home near Whigham, James W. Chester died from a 
suddenly developed condition of the heart.  His death was unusually sad as it 
came at the close of a pleasant Christmas day and just before the arrival of 
his mother, who had been nearly three years away, and a brother whom he had not 
seen in twenty four years.  He was well known, much loved, and highly respected 
throughout Grady and Decatur counties.

He was fifty-eight years of age and lived, died and was buried in the section 
where he was born.

He is survived by his widow, three sons and two daughters
