The Cairo Messenger, Friday, January 31, 1919
Mr. Wayne Wamble Died Last Wednesday

After a brief illness of only one week Mr. Wayne Wamble died at his home about 
seven miles north of Cairo at noon on Wednesday, January 29th.   Influenza 
followed by pneumonia was the cause of his death.  He was forty three years of 
age, the son of Mr. A. L. Wamble.  He was born and reared in Grady County.  He 
was a prosperous farmer and lived an honest straight forward life.

The funeral services were held at Pine Level Church Thursday afternoon at 3:00 
o'clock.

He is survived by his widow, five children, father, step-mother, five brothers 
and three sisters.
