M. Cooke Died Last Tuesday Dr. A. B. Cooke received the news here Tuesday of the death of his brother, R. M. Cooke, who resided at Villa Rica. He was 85 years of age. Just a few days before his death, he was stricken for the fourth time with paralysis, from which he could not recover. He was born in Rabun County, spent several years of his life in Rome and Atlanta, for the past fifteen years Villa Rica has been his home. Since childhood he has been a member of the Baptist Church. Besides his widow he leaves two daughters: Miss Anna Cooke and Mrs. Lula McKennie of Villa Rica and son, Mr. R. M. Cooke, Jr., of Smithville, to cherish his hallowed memory.
