Mauldin had passed away. Mrs. Mauldin was one of whom it can truly be said "she hath done what she could." In her younger days she was always nursing the sick and comforting those in trouble. Her sweet, cheery disposition was like a ray of sunshine to the sad heart. She has for long years been a consistent member of the Baptist church and she was ever ready to serve in every way that she could. Mrs. Mauldin is survived by the following children: Miss Hattie Mauldin, Mrs. Walter Coleman, J. L., C. F., and B. W. Mauldin; her husband having preceded her to the grave about 30 years ago. To say we miss her is too feeble a way of expressing our grief, but we know she is happy in her rich reward in Heaven, and we shall strive harder to meet her there. Sleep on dear one, we would not arouse you back to this old world of hardships and trials, if we could. We fancy we hear her saying, "Come on and be happy with me."
