Collins Died Last Sunday Mrs. Margaret C. Collins, widow of the late Doss R. Collins, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Herndon near here at two o'clock last Sunday afternoon at the age of 72 years. The direct cause of her death was pneumonia. She had been confined to her bed only a few days. Although well along in years, Mrs. Collins fought a brave fight. She was not, however, able to withstand such an attack of pneumonia. The funeral services were conducted at the Collins cemetery by Rev. W. C. Jones at four o'clock Monday afternoon. Among those who survive Mrs. Collins are the following children: W. P. Evers of Grady County; R. J. Evers of Birmingham, Ala.; W. H. Collins of Thomasville; Mrs. D. D. Gwaltney of Thomasville; T. J. Rawls of Pelham; Doss R. Collins, Jr., of Grady County and Mrs. W. H. Herndon also of Grady County. We extend condolence to the bereaved ones in their sad hour of affliction. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
