In Memorium

In memory of Clayton Nix, who died November 22, 1918 at the age of 42 years.  
God saw fit to take from loving relatives and friends and the church.  He 
connected himself with the church in the year of our Lord 1914, and was a 
faithful member.   God in His infinite mercy saw fit to take him from our midst 
and it is our loss, but His eternal gain.

Be it resolved:

First, that we bow heads and hearts in humble submission to God who doeth all 
things well.

Second, that we as a church extend to the bereaved relatives our heartfelt 
sympathy and pray God's richest blessings on each and every one of them.  May 
they so live to meet him in the great beyond.

Third, that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the county paper for 
publication and a copy be sent to the family and a page be left blank in our 
church record to record to his memory.
