Ausley Died Last Tuesday Mr. John C. Ausley died at the home of his son, Mr. Chisholm Ausley, eight miles from Bainbridge last Tuesday morning about 2:30 o'clock. He had been sick for several months suffering from kidney and heart trouble. His home was in Slocumb, Ala., he had been with his son for about two weeks previous to his death. He was about 70 years of age. The funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. Chisholm Ausley at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. Ward of the Bainbridge Presbyterian Church. Interment followed in the Bainbridge cemetery. He leaves a widow, Mrs. John C. Ausley of Slocumb, Ala., three sons, Mr. Chisholm Ausley of Bainbridge, Dr. Charles Ausley of Tallahassee, Fla., and Mr. Tom Ausley of Texas and one daughter, Mrs. A. C. Kelly of Gradyville. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ethridge, Mrs. A. L. Kelly, Mrs. W. H. Clark and little girl and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Griner of Cairo, attended the services.
