The Cairo Messenger, Friday, October 23, 1942
Little Miss Edna Ruth Sellers, 4, daughter of George and Sallie P. Sellers of 
Cairo, died at the home of her parents in Cairo at one o'clock last Tuesday 
morning, following an illness of three weeks with Bright's disease.  Her 
untimely death was fraught with unusual sadness.

She was born here Apr. 7th, 1936.  Final rites were at Bell View cemetery in 
Miller county, Ga. On Wednesday with South Georgia Funeral Home in charge.

Immediate survivors in addition to her parents, are her maternal grandparents, 
Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Phillips, Cairo and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Sellers, Cairo, and two sisters, Hazel Virginia and Georgie Eva 
Sellers.
