Mauldin On Friday morning, March 7th, 1919, our much loved friend, Sister Mauldin, laid aside her work on earth and answered the summons of her dear Lord and is now reaping the reward of a well spent Christian life. She was always ready to do her part; and as long as she was able, could be found in the sick room ministering to those who suffered. Was a light in her home, and enjoyed the fully developed love of all her children whom she insisted on following "Jesus all the Way." She was never arrogant, ostentatious or self assisting, on the contrary, her natural modesty and humility was very pronounced. It may be truly be said of her, she lived the Christian life she professed. Therefore, be it resolved, 1st. That we, as a Circle, realize our oldest and strongest member has fallen from our ranks, and notwithstanding we shall miss her influence among us, we must submit to the will of "Him who doeth all things well." 2nd. That we extend to the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy and commend to them to our Heavenly Father, who is too wise to err and too good to be unkind. 3rd. That these resolutions be spread upon our minutes and published in the paper. Done by order of Circle No.1 of "Baptist Missionary Union" April 14th, 1919. Mrs. W. H.
