All that loving hands could do was done, but God was calling and she laid down her life at His hands. Sister Barton was born February 17, 1890. In early life she joined the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church. She lived as one of God's children, and was a faithful member until death called her. Sister Barton leaves a husband and three little children, besides a father and several brothers to mourn her early departure of this life. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, a dutiful daughter and a loving sister. Let us as a church resolve: First, that we bow in humble submission to His Holy will. Second, that we the church, have lost a faithful and loving member. Third, that we extend to the bereaved dear ones our heartfelt sympathy and pray that God will bless each one, and guide them on to the portals whither their loved one has gone. Fourth, that we send these resolutions to our county paper for publication; and also a copy to the bereaved family. And also leave a page blank in our minute book to Sister Barton's memory. A. C.
