In Memory

On Sunday evening, April 20th, a deep and dreary gloom settled upon the 
relatives and friends of a bright and hopeful man, Chancey Hurst, for he was 
called to his eternal reward from his labor and patient suffering here upon 
this earth.

At the time of his death he was 27 years old and in the prime of life.  His 
sterling qualities and strong character won for him a place of honor and 
respect and this vacant place cannot be filled by anyone.

Although we have lost one of our best friends and dearest relatives we must not 
forget that he has gone to the "one that doeth all things well," where his 
troubles are over and he is singing God's praises on Canaan's Shore.

Our loss is Heaven's gain for he has gone to join the Angel Band.  Although 
this parting is sad, the reunion in Heaven will be sweet and there we will 
never say good-bye.

To the sorrowing relatives of this dear one, heartfelt sympathy is extended and 
also a prayer that God will bless each one and they will be guided onto the 
portals whither their loved one has gone.
