In Memory

On Nov. 4th, 1918, the death angel visited the home of Bro. T. E. Willis and 
took away Sister Minnie Taylor.

Sister Taylor was born Feb. 12, 1901.  She joined Pine Level Missionary church 
in July, 1917 and lived a beautiful Christian life, none knew her but to love 
her.

In the spring of 1918, she married Brother Calvin Taylor.  She was a dutiful 
daughter and a loving wife.  She ministered to the sick and in this way 
contracted the illness that caused her death.

She is sorely missed.  No more will we hear her cheery voice, no more be 
gladdened by her sweet smile.

Sweet Minnie has gone — but she is not forgotten.  We hope to meet her again in 
a world of Joy, where there is no more sickness nor death.

Therefore, we resolve:

First, that we bow in humble submission to God's Holy Will and although her 
going seemed untimely to us, let us not question God's will, for He doeth all 
things well.

Second, in the death of Sister Taylor, the church has lost a faithful member.  
Her life was a beautiful example.

Third, that we extend to the grief-stricken parents, husband and other loved 
ones, our deepest heartfelt sympathy.  We pray God's richest blessings on each 
one.  May they so live as to be able to meet Sister Minnie Taylor in that home 
not made with hands.

Fourth, that we send a copy of these resolutions to the bereaved ones and also 
one to the county papers for publication and leave a page in our minute book to 
her loving memory,
