He had been sick for some few weeks and he grew worse until death relieved his pain. He was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon at Bold Springs Church where he had always been a member since the church had been established. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and eight children, 2 girls and six boys. Gone to rest our friend so true, His day was dying in the west; When with his dear sweet lips he said, It's alright, God knows best. He was the joy of our home, But never again will he roam, He has gone from the reach of our arms; But God has him sheltered from all harm. When He said, "Come," he did not hold, He said, "it is well with my soul." This dove which has taken flight Has soared into hits heavenly flight; Loved ones, don't leave me," he called and said. They didn't leave him, but soon he was dead. Written by a Friend. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
