J. Kidd Died In Thomasville Saturday "Friends in Thomasville will learn with deep sorrow of the death of Mrs. A. J. Kidd at her home on Crawford Street at three thirty o'clock this morning. Mrs. Kidd was taken ill at about midnight with heart trouble which caused the end of her life only a short time afterward. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at five-thirty this afternoon and the body will be taken to Whitesburg for interment. She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Drayton and Miss Verna and Annie Laura Kidd of this city. Mrs. Kidd had been a resident of this city for several years and was a woman of strong character, splendid Christian spirit and with a devotion to home and home life that made many burdens light for those for whom she lived." — Thomasville Times Enterprise. The above from the Times-Enterprise of last Saturday will be read with sorrow by many Cairo people who remember Mrs. Kidd. She was for many years a resident of Cairo and had many friends here.
